LIES!

My Comments: The LIES I refer to, from my personal experience with Medicare since July 2012, is in red text in the article excerpt below. My Medicare was not GIVEN to me as this article states, I, and you, PAY for Medicare and Medicaid all of our working lives for the next generation and then we PAY for it after we are on it, so that statement is a LIE. Also Medicare has gone up once since I was automatically enrolled and my Part B private insurance has also. I pay $35 MORE a month for Medicare Parts A & B than I did for my expensive Blue Cross private insurance coverage. My private insurance, pre-Medicare, went up twice, once in 2009 & once in 2010. Blue Cross said those increases were implemented in anticipation of the Health Reform Act getting passed. After it was passed, it went up again, unlike what Obama promised would happen. I guess I should be thankful they didn't cancel it altogether!

As a truck driver, your health coverage can be expensive. The job itself can create multiple health problems. Weird work hours, not enough sleep, high stress, having meals on wheels that are nutritious almost impossible...these are just a few reasons your health can go in the toilet. By the time you reach 65 you could be less healthy than when you ran that first load and you will NEED excellent health coverage. If you're not putting away some money for Medicare coverage premiums you will find yourself in grave danger of not being able to afford Medicare. Many, many seniors are in that boat right now looking for a life jacket.

ObamaCare cuts Medicare and Medicare Advantage $716 Billion 2013-2022. $415 Billion comes from cutting tax payer money that is going to doctors, hospitals and private insurance companies... Most health care officials, workers and hospitals agree that ObamaCare helps the health care industry and specifically Medicare and Medicaid.
             
The ObamaCare Medicare cuts will mainly affect hospital reimbursement rates for hospitals and private health insurance companies. The claim is that by cutting the profit hospitals and insurance companies make off of Medicare and Medicare advantage, the less help seniors will be able to get. This, however, is nothing more than a "Medi-scare." My comment: Really?    Medicare is given to seniors when they reach 65 and provides comprehensive care on behalf of the government. Medicare Advantage is a private coverage option which has driven profits of private health insurance companies up, yet puts a larger burden on the government to fund Medicare. ObamaCare Medicare cuts aim to fix this.
